The Story Balloons are a group of creative writers with learning disabilities at the Sheffield Mencap centre. Nowhere the Warmth Can Escape is their first published collection of short stories. The stories are a heart-warming, witty, and at times emotional insight into the creative minds of these writers and their life experiences, and a testament to what this group can and have achieved.
A simple typographic cover and layout let the stories and illustrations do the talking.
